One thing I've enjoyed this winter is being able to sit by the wood stove and enjoy the fire. Although it can be a lot of work to keep the fire going, it sure has been great to have. It's beautiful and has tremendously helped with our heating bill! I love reading by the fire and sipping a cup of hot tea or cocoa.

I always loved sitting by our stove too. I can just sit and soak up its warmth. Its a totally different kind of heat. I love it. I miss our! We now have a gas fireplace. It's really pretty, just not a good source of heat! So David only lights it when he wants to be romantic and we all know that isn't very often!
I have a nonworking fireplace. I hate it! This year for Valentine's Day I asked for a working fireplace. Let's see what happens. It could be that David and Bob compete for the most unromantic.
